4 medium potatoes
salt, to taste
4 to 8 tablespoons butter (or to your preference)
250ml milk (or to your preference)
3 tsp wholegrain mustard
Peel the potatoes and put them in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until the potatoes are tender. Drain the potatoes in a colander in the sink. Once drained, mash the potatoes with the butter, milk and mustard until most of the lumps are gone and the potatoes are smooth and creamy. Season with salt. Serve immediately.
